Spent much of the last week of 2009 chasing down image details with the University of Minnesota Press, then spent the last hours before the New Year in the sauna with good friends and cold beer at the ready. The morning after the outdoor mercury plunged to -32 degrees, but in the sauna at 8 a.m. it was still a relatively accomodating +18.
Meanwhile, intrepid photographer Aaron Hautala was pinballing around the Arrowhead collecting the last images for the book.
